The primary responsibility of the Sr. Subject Matter Expert is to drive the integration of the AMS enterprise solutions (NITRO GEO and NITRO Mobile) platform into the day-to-day activities of different groups within the customer environment; from engineers using NITRO GEO and NITRO Mobile to monitor and troubleshoot network issues through to management executives who use reports based on NITRO GEO and NITRO Mobile data to make strategic decisions on the network architecture and services offered by their company.

Duties:

- Lead a team of mentors and support them in promoting VIA enterprise solutions

- Increase user adoption of the AMS solutions deployed in the customer environment

- Communicate and recommend Best Practices as appropriate

- Develop strategic relationships and provide expert advice to impact decisions, support initiatives, and clarify accountability to VIA mentors

- Provide expert advice, counsel and recommendations on mentoring matters, to influence organizational decisions and initiatives

- Develop and deliver tailored training programs and workshops on the use of the NITRO GEO and NITRO Mobile applications to internal and external stakeholders

- Demonstrate the power of the NITRO GEO and NITRO Mobile applications by:- Assisting the mentors/customer in identification and resolution of problems on their network - Generating custom reports to assist with planning and optimization of network and services changes

- Document successful use cases that demonstrate the added value provided by the NITRO GEO and NITRO Mobile solution for use in quarterly operational reviews- Use case reports and product enhancement feedback to be submitted to the PLM

Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:

- Degree in a telecommunications/engineering

- 10+ years in telecoms

- Detailed working knowledge of UMTS/LTE/5G architecture and call flows

- LTE-A optimization experience is mandatory

- Knowledge of 5G technology for network optimization and planning

- Scripting experience under a Windows environment using F#, .NET, Python, Perl or other languages

- Demonstrated ability to identify root cause of network issues

- Familiarity with Operational and Business Support Systems. IT and Microsoft office skills

- Excellent customer facing skills, project presentations, pre-sales demonstrations. Must have strong negotiation and objection handling skills

- Ambitious and an enthusiastic self-starter. Able to work individually, as well as part of a team

- Creative, with attention to detail. Excellent oral and written communication skills
