Description
Finvi (previously Ontario Systems) has a new and exciting position as a Copywriter on our Brand & Content Marketing team. We are looking for a skilled B2B copywriter to develop effective and persuasive marketing content that reflects the Finvi brand and promotes the sale of our products and services. Because of the vast range of content needs from thought leadership to sales enablement, we are looking for a copywriter who is well versed in both creative and technical writing.
Location This position will be remote. Candidate may work where they live anywhere in the United States.

What You'll Do
As a copywriter on our marketing team, you'll be responsible for writing and editing copy across all channels that elevates our brand messaging and engages audiences for the various markets we serve. You'll create compelling copy for a variety of projects, including website, company blog, industry articles, digital and social media, sales enablement collateral, direct mail, internal and client-facing communications, events, video and other marketing materials as requested.
You'll work closely with the Brand & Content Marketing team members, as well as the Portfolio Marketing team, Sales and additional subject matter experts, to understand how our products and services solve our clients' pain points in the various industries we serve. You'll be expected to use that knowledge to create content that is on brand and in strategic alignment with corporate and marketing goals. You must have an excellent eye for detail and need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Primary responsibilities include:
Research, plan and create compelling content with a consistent eye on educating prospects/clients and accelerating lead generation, while mastering the Finvi voice to fit each audience
Create original, and edit existing copy for all marketing projects, including website content, landing pages, blog articles, industry articles, press releases, advertising copy, social media, eBooks, white papers, product sell sheets, pitch decks, client success stories, internal and client-facing communications, direct mail, event promos, video scripts and storyboards, and other marketing materials as requested
Work with marketing management, as well as internal and external SMEs to understand copy writing needs, researching independently when necessary
Demonstrate the ability to translate technical phrases and concepts into copy that is easily understood by persons of all technical abilities and levels of expertise
Route copy through review processes and revise based on feedback/direction
Publish and edit content within Pardot and WordPress platforms
Effectively project manage assignments and work within a cross-functional marketing team environment to complete projects with interdependencies
Display a conscious effort to work within expected time frames to meet deadlines
Establish positive, professional relationships with internal and external clients
What You'll Need
Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or related discipline
Minimum 4-5 years professional copywriting experience is required (B2B experience preferred)
Exceptional writing and research skills
Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines
Excellent organizational skills and multitasking abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides (AP Style) is required
Experience working with content management systems (Pardot, Hubspot, etc.), social media platforms, WordPress (or similar website builder) is required
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign) is a plus
