Position Description:
Position Purpose:
The Cybersecurity Engineer II develops, maintains and supports The Home Depot's technical infrastructure, hardware, and system software components for small to large-sized projects. Performs configuration, debugging and support for multiple infrastructure platforms on large-sized and smaller projects. Performs root cause analysis for service interruption recovery; create preventative measures and present to management. Assist in store & SSC engineering and roll-out implementation. Can communicate complete technical solutions to business partners with minimal direction using understandable language. Ability to manage time and work independently on multiple projects.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
25%Perform installation, maintenance and support of system software and user support on small to large-sized projects.
15%Perform configuration, debugging and support for multiple infrastructure platforms on small to large-sized projects.
15%Perform installation, maintenance and support of hardware and infrastructure on small to large-sized projects.
15%Monitor and tune platforms to ensure expected availability and performance levels are achieved.
15%Perform root cause analysis for service interruption recovery; create preventative measures and present to management.
15%Assist in store & SSC engineering and roll-out implementation.
Nature and Scope:
Position reports to the Manager, Information Services
No direct responsibility for supervising others.
Environmental Job Requirements:
Environment:
1. Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Standard Minimum Qualifications:
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Additional Minimum Qualifications:
Experience with Enterprise-level Active Directory services, DNS, DHCP, DFS.
Extensive experience in Windows Server 20012/2019.
Experience administering Active Directory in an enterprise-class environment (600K+ users) with multiple forests.
Experience with scripting with PowerShell, VBScript required.
Knowledge in SCOM/SCCM, PKI Certificates and SSL.
Experience with Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) Directory services.
Provide documentation for the services and strategies developed in the domain
Experience with Active Directory migrations using ADMT/Quest Migration Manager.
Solid understanding of IT components, including Networking, Network Load Balancing, various Operating Systems, SAN/NAS storage, and server hardware.
