What you can expect: PepsiCo eCommerce is looking to hire a data engineer to join the ROI Engine data engineering team. We, using modern data engineering tools and methods, gather and process various data related to PepsiCo media execution to understand and improve its performance on different markets and across different media tactics. Were looking for a team player who knows how to work with data and knows how to work with business experts who may not understand data as well. Responsibilities: Efficiently and robustly load and transform large datasets Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and priorities Communicate clearly and proactively with team and stakeholders Use and improve our data infrastructure Keep an eye on new technologies and investigate to see if they allow us to do our jobs better Be a good teammate Compensation and Benefits: Expected salary range is $65000-$105000 [BDI Cash Amount - $5,000 Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement Other benefits, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan Qualifications BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field 2+ years of production experience with Airflow or similar scheduler and SQL MPP database like Snowflake or Redshift 3+ years of Python or Java development experience, experience with multiple data technologies and concepts such as Airflow, Kafka, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, MapReduce, SQL, NoSQL, and Columnar databases 3+ years of experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling Experience designing, building and maintaining data processing systems A proven self-starter who can move projects forward by filling in the gaps on Agile teams, from leading a design session to doing some test automation, to mentoring a teammate struggling with a new technology Covid-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment dependent on role and location.
