As the Director Global Product Development, you will be responsible to drive key business decisions, deliver on strategic initiatives and identify value-creation opportunities across the business. You will coordinate multiple teams and work closely with senior leadership from Product, Marketing, Segments, Service Lines, Sales, and other functions to identify and solve complex business and technical problems. You will partner with Product Owners to develop strategies to establish and grow our products around the globe.

You and your teams will be responsible for assessing and executing on strategies to develop and launch new products and features into the market. This includes owning product feature prioritization for your product and partnering with the Service Line Product Owners to develop enterprise solutions that will optimize towards growing revenue and improving customer experience. Your teams will create solutions for extending the product/platform's capabilities and iterate from MVP to more extensible versions. Your teams will define requirements, measure key results, track experiments, and frequently rollout new features.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Lead the organization on a transformation from Application Development to Product Development/Management

  • Partner with Segment CIOs to support the product and development needs supporting internal and external solutions

  • Spearhead the transformation to full agile and devops.

  • Lead and develop an organization that collaboratively assesses and decides on strategies to build new products and features into the market.

  • Work with business CIOs, Product Management, and Marketing to define the roadmap and develop go-to-market strategies that drive long term product adoption and revenue growth. Identify opportunities to develop and capture cross-product efficiencies.

  • Align resources & location with business plans. Location Strategies, leveraging horizontal areas/COEs. Optimize the resource model, administer hires, track on/off boarding, and evaluate contract and resource strategies.

  • Create systems and structures that empower your team to own product feature prioritization for your product(s), making decisions that will optimize towards growing revenue and improving customer experience.

  • Drive effective cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment across all of Kroll's product portfolio.

    • Identify and prioritize unmet customer or internal needs and develop solutions to meet these - whether within existing products or through new offerings.

  • Develop and write business requirements for prioritized product features with technical, customer, and functional requirements Lead product rollouts with Sales, CS, and clients. Create processes that empower the team to proactively identify and resolve any operational issues before they arise, and develop new systems and processes as needed.

  • Lead team to present findings and recommendations to Segment/Service Line leadership.

  • Influence key stakeholders to define and adopt appropriate metrics, goals and processes to achieve business objectives.

  • Partner with leadership across Product, Marketing, Sales teams to align on key decisions.

  • Lead the team through challenging people situations involving conflict or misalignment amongst stakeholders.

  • Collaborating closely with product on the development and rollout of new job advertising products across search, display and other matching services that connect employers with jobseekers

  • Leading international rollouts of new capabilities and working closely with senior leadership and partner teams

  • Identifying areas of opportunity and improvement in both the product and market


REQUIREMENTS :

  • Minimum 10+ years' experience in Product, Strategy, Management Consulting, Business Operations, or other related experience

  • 7+ years directing cross-functional projects and initiatives.

  • 7+ years' experience leading, coaching, and mentoring high-performing teams.

  • 5 Commercial Product experience

  • Ability to build strong relationships throughout the organization, at all levels

  • Proven track record making, sponsoring, and guiding teams to complex and large-scale initiatives and data-driven business decisions

  • Exposure to US/UK/India/Overseas working cultures

  • Experience of developing and implementing processes, procedures, and controls to improve client satisfaction and loyalty, as well as drive operational efficiencies

  • Strong project management skills and demonstrated experience in managing teams across functions and geographies

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
