What you will be doing:
Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Revenue Management is responsible for driving total hotel profit optimization using a rational, disciplined decision-making process, while managing risk under current and anticipated market conditions.
Leads strategic planning and collaborates with all hotel profit generation teams to actively seek opportunities to drive incremental profit for Rooms and other revenue streams.
Effectively communicates a compelling Total Hotel Profit Optimization vision to all relevant property leaders and fosters RevPRO culture in the hotel
Leverages Revenue Management analytics, technologies, processes, tools, and training programs to optimize hotel profits.
Creates accurate short and long term forecasts, achieving forecast accuracy across all profit streams.
Participates in the annual budget process and produces long term projections as required.
Maximizes room revenue contribution through a thorough understanding of all booking channels and management of inventory and rate therein
Your experience and skills include:
Minimum of 5 years experience as a Director of Revenue in a Luxury Hotel environment. University degree specifically in the area of business or hospitality is highly preferred. Proven experience with total hotel profit optimization concepts, strategies, and processes.
University degree preferably in the area of business or hospitality.
Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking, long-range planning and strong analytical skills are required.
Strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to represent ideas succinctly and convincingly in discussion forums, written documents or one on one conversations.
Superior organization skills required, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints.
Proven ability to work cohesively as part of a team in a multi-cultural, diverse environment, strong interpersonal and team building skills are required. In depth knowledge in the use of automated systems including but not limited to RMS, PMS, CRS, Channel Management Tools, Extranets, as well as Microsoft Office suite is required.
Previous experience with IDeaS RMS is preferred.
Proven ability to work effectively in a demanding and fast paced environment. Independent analytical problem-solver.
Communicates effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
