Equity Research Analyst/Associate- REITs

**Job Description:**
U.S. Real Estate Analyst on top-ranked Bank of America equity research U.S. REIT team. This person will lead and coordinate teams U.S. real estate thematic, macro and strategy research and events. The candidate will work closely with the Head of U.S. REITs, Senior Real Estate Sector Analysts and other Junior Analysts on the team. The ability to work collaboratively is an important aspect of this role.
Key aspects of role include but are not limited to:
Apply BofAs economic and strategy research to develop U.S. real estate and REIT sector thematic research reports and events.
Work closely with the Head of U.S. REITs to answer key investor questions and respond to bespoke client requests across REIT sectors.
Write unique and insightful real estate industry reports and conduct analyses based on macro and micro trends.
Work with Head of team to develop key industry themes.
Develop databases integral to our research product.
Demonstrate strong industry knowledge, business judgment and ethics.
Build relationships and facilitate information flow with real estate industry contacts.
Participate and contribute to client meetings and events including our Global Real Estate Conference and other industry conferences.
Seek out new,value-add and/orunusual sources of information.
Interact regularly with clients, institutional salesforce and REIT traders.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree with a major or minor in Economics required.
Work experience 2-5 years.
Interest in US commercial real estate and economics.
Background / interest in economics, strategy and thematic research.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills as well as the ability to multi-task.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and intense environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Must work well in a collaborative team environment and be a strong team player.
Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and an interest in the markets.
