**Sodexo** is seeking a **Executive Chef 4** for **Erlanger Main in Chattanooga, TN** . Erlanger Baroness Hospital, is a 688 bed tertiary referral hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center serving a region of East Tennessee, North Georgia, North Alabama and western North Carolina.
The **Executive Chef** will support (3) Executive Chef 2's and (1) Executive Chef 1 and be responsible for all **back of the house operations in retail, catering and patient services. This position will support all 4 locations in the Erlanger Health System,** the largest being Erlanger Baroness.

**The successful candidate will:**
+ have oversight of daily food operations and deliver a high-quality product;
+ has culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;
+ has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
+ can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and
+ can demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and Market Connections (MSC), and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.

**Position Summary**
Directs daily operations of food production, including menu planning, purchasing, ordering, inventory food preparation, post meal analysis and record keeping. Ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory, and resources to perform their jobs and meet goals and deadlines.
Establishes operating standards, implements and maintains Sodexo and branded concepts standards, creates quality improvements and communicates them to employees.
Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations as well as Sodexo/client policies and procedures (e.g. HACCP, quality assurance, safety, operations, personnel, SoSafe and EcoSure).
Trains other chefs/staff on culinary skills through day to day trainings as well the use of Culinary Foundations trainings and standards, and serves as technical expert.
Maintains and develops client relationships and client satisfaction for all aspects of food production to ensure account retention.
**Qualifications & Requirements**
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 5 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
