Boeing Global Services Digital Solutions team is currently looking for **Experienced** **DevOps Engineer (.NET)** to join their team in **Bengaluru, KA.** As a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of the Boeing Global Services Digital Solutions team, which develops software applications and products that create direct value to its customers. **Position Responsibilities** **:**


+ Responsible for developing and building IT solutions, DevOps Engineers install and configure solutions, implement reusable components and services, translate technical requirements, assist with all stages of test data, develop interface stubs and simulators, perform script maintenance and updates and work with development teams where needed to complete the full products lifecycles.

+ Estimate user stories/features (story point estimation) and tasks in hours with the required level of accuracy and commit them as part of Sprint Planning.

+ Develop and manage CI/CD process for different types of application and automate as many processes as possible.

+ Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software and infrastructure development lifecycle and participate in an agile Scrum team.

+ Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting (e.g., Puppet, Ansible, Azure ARM).

+ Manage and support customer environments in datacenter and Microsoft Azure cloud.

+ Create, change, review and debug automation code and core services.

+ Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products.

+ Document the development and deployment activities.

+ Manage the full release process.

+ Identify patterns in issues and recommend enhancement to address recurring issues.

+ Setting up in-depth knowledge about the Product youre working on.

+ Raise any impediments/risks (technical/operational/personal) they come across and approaches Scrum Master/Technical Architect/PO accordingly to arrive at a solution.

+ Update the status and the remaining efforts for their tasks on a daily basis

+ Ensures change requests are treated correctly and tracked in the system, impact analysis done and risks/timelines are appropriately communicated.

+ Knowledge and experience with Ansible / Chef, Docker, Packer, Kubernetes, Istio, Linux administration, instrumentation, networking, continuous integration, testing strategies and builds are all important. This includes tooling for the CI/CD pipeline.

+ Strong experience working with cloud environments and tools (Azure), experience in implementing cost-savings across multiple environments

+ Experience automating large-scale deployments, with automate-all-the-things attitude

+ Good understanding of TCP/IP model and web protocols (HTTP, DNS, TLS, OAuth2, OpenID Connect)

+ Basic programming skills in any modern language (Python, Golang, TypeScript, Java, C#, etc)

+ Strong debugging skills, going from Web browser request, through network stack, backend API to operating system

+ Familiarity with Linux system tools (network configuration, firewall, containers management, cgroups, namespaces,mandatory access control)

+ Experience in building reliable systems with high-availability patterns implemented and disaster recovery plans

+ Familiarity with logging/monitoring/alerting stacks (Azure Monitor, Blazemeter, Prometheus, Grafana, ElasticSearch, PagerDuty, OpenTracing, etc)


**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): (9-12 years)**


+ Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 to 12 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master 7 to 11 years' related work experience.

+ Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer

+ Experience using system monitoring tools.

+ Good understanding of load balancers (e.g. NGINX), DNS, (virtual) networks and firewalls in both datacenter and cloud environment.

+ Automated deployment frameworks

+ Setup monitoring (performance metrics, security metrics, OMS)

+ Good knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MSSQL) and knowledge about NoSQL databases.

+ Analytical mind with problem-solving attitude.

+ Apply the fundamental security design principles.

+ Ability to work independently but also work as team member.

+ Excellent organizational and communication skills.


**Must have skillset:**


+ Great experience with Azure (DevOps) (e.g., IAAS, PAAS, ARM).

+ Infrastructure as code (IAC) patterns and principles.

+ Bash/PowerShell scripting capabilities.

+ Good understanding of REST API principles.

+ Understanding of Microservice architecture.

+ Understanding of service bus architecture.

+ In-depth Knowledge of Helm / Servicemesh / Kubernetes and Docker containerization.

+ Good understanding of Azure Container Registry.

+ In-depth knowledge of both Linux and Windows.

+ Knowledge of service and messaging bus (RabbitMQ).

+ Knowledge of Elastic Search


**Nice to have:**


+ Knowledge of MS .NET and C# programming language.

+ Knowledge of Redis Cache and Cosmos DB

+ Experience with failover/recovery scenarios in Azure

+ Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude.
