External Title: Geospatial Data Scientist
Role Summary
As a member of the Data Science (DS) Center of Expertise (CoE), the Geospatial DS Advisor is responsible for leading geospatial-enabled advanced analytics (e.g., engineering geospatial features such as drive-time and density, leveraging advanced geospatial techniques such as kriging and location-allocation) and end-to-end model production - from business problem ideation to model monitoring. These ML models support clinical, health equity, marketing, and other business areas.
Reporting to the Head of Geospatial Data Science & MLOps, the Geospatial DS Advisor will rigorously prioritize delivery on high-value geospatial-enabled Data Science workstreams while enabling geospatial self-service for Data Scientists, Business Analysts, and analytically inclined business stakeholders.
So, you're interested in becoming the newest member of this team? Great! Let's check some boxes to see if you're a good fit:
Perform advanced trend and spatial analytics to answer "what happened and where?"
Conduct root cause statistical analyses to answer "why did this happen here?"
Develop predictive models to answer "what will happen next?" and "where is it likely to happen next?"
Mine data to answer "where are the opportunities?"
Deploy innovation processes and pilot campaigns to answer "how can we get better?"
