**Global eCommerce Chief Architect**

**What youll achieve**
The GeX team is ambitiously navigating the rapidly evolving technology landscape and working collaboratively across Dell to produce secure and personalized human-centric experiences that delight our customers.
The GeX is looking for a Chief Architect to help drive this vision to reality. In this role, you will help shape the most critical, sophisticated and complex architectural designs that have a foundational and enduring impact on Digital Experiences across Dell.
This high-visibility role will report to the executive leader of the GeX organization.
**You will:**
+ Drive, influence and shape the technical strategy and ongoing development of a modern architecture for Dells eCommerce experience
+ As a trusted advisor to senior leadership, deliver presentations and play an influential role in shaping the technologydirectionof the organization
+ Collaborate with senior architects and peersacross Dell Digital anddevelop technical designs for key initiatives
+ Lead and drive eCommerce, marketplace, subscriptions and cloud-native architecture
+ Develop and evolve micro-servicesand micro-frontend based architecture solutions
+ Mentor and growtechnical leads and architects that run product lines in the eCommerceteam
+ Perform architecturereviews while being responsive to help resolvepressingtechnical challenges

**Essential Requirements**
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills in sharing vision, architecture and roadmap succinctly with a diverse set of audiences
+ 15-18 years of experience with a proven passion forlarge-scale webtechnology
+ Significant experience designing highly resilient, maintainable and scalable architectures
+ Significant experience developing secure, cloud-native applications
+ Demonstrable experience developinghigh-quality codeusing Test Driven Development
+ Demonstrable experience with developing a culture of automation and DevOps practices
+ Significant experience with C# or Java
+ Strong working knowledge of JavaScript/Typescript and related client-side libraries
+ Experience working withNoSQL databases such as Cassandra, Elasticsearch and Mongo
+ Experience developing Event-Driven Architecture with Kafka or RabbitMQ
+ Strong organizational planning and development, business judgment, technical leadership, and communication skills
**Desirable Requirements**
+ Experience applying AI/ML, graph, or data platform technologiesto enhance user experiences
+ Experience with AB testing, blue-green and Canary deployments
+ Experience working with containers and container orchestration systems such as Cloud Foundry/Kubernetes
+ Experience with enterprise-grade eCommerce platforms and marketplace solutions such as Mirakl, Salesforce or Adobe Commerce
