The Opportunity




The Senior Analyst, Digital Intelligence plays a key role within Chubbs Digital Acceleration Office, a specialized team that works closely with the Chief Digital Business Officer and senior digital leaders to drive growth of Chubbs digital business.

Your mission will be to surface opportunities and deliver insights to senior business leaders making strategic decisions that are fueling our digital growth. You will architect and execute continuous scanning, intelligence curation, and the presentation and distribution layer for our digital insights. The scope of intelligence we monitor includes, but will not be limited to, market definition and sizing, audience and user insights, competitive intelligence, curation of internal intelligence, and technology trends. Your impact will be delivered through regular cadence intelligence updates, on-demand briefs and profiles, and deep dive efforts on specific markets, products, or companies.








What You Will Do




  • Act as the in house expert on topics of interest, including specific markets and companies



  • Publish regular updates on market activities, keeping the team informed of the pulse of the insurance and digital environments



  • Deliver short briefs and profiles on-demand and longer form deep dive assessments to support networking, partnership discussion, and strategic decisions and actions



  • Build systematic approaches to scanning and flagging opportunities for new products and partnerships and keeping abreast of market developments, identifying third party sources



  • Enhance and expand breadth, depth, and efficiency of insights coverage over time












The Team




This role reports to the Vice President of Digital Revenue Acceleration and is part of a central team working directly for Chubbs Chief Digital Business Officer. The Digital Acceleration Office has global influence over strategy and program level execution for Chubbs digital business efforts, supporting Chubbs Digital leaders success in their local markets and businesses. Within that scope, the Senior Analyst, Digital Intelligence will be connected to and providing insights to functional and business teams across Chubb.





Location and remote work: The team is working on a hybrid basis, enabling in person connections and collaboration in Chubbs office a few days a week with flexibility on other days.




About You




Experience and aptitudes




  • Intensely curious and experienced in gathering, analyzing and synthesizing data and reporting from across the information and disclosures landscape, including from news sources, research reports and whitepapers, general regulatory filings, financial filings, internal data sources and experts, and licensed 3rd party information services providers



  • Familiarity with insurance, financial services, and startup ecosystems, concepts, terms, financial statements, and data sources strongly preferred, but this can be taught to the right candidate



  • Strong critical thinking, communication, presentation, teamwork aptitudes, senior client management skills, poise, and professional maturity



  • Ability to independently analyze data sets, derive insights, and structure presentations and communicate findings and recommendations



  • Ability to problem solve, design solutions, and operate independently leveraging a blend of business and technical experience



  • Undergraduate degree or other training in quantitative oriented discipline and track record of professional rigor



  • At least 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience, potentially as an analyst in financial services industry, consulting, or banking



  • Excitement to rapidly develop new skills while growing and expanding the role and capabilities of Chubb Digital








Technical Skills




  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and comfort in PowerPoint, ideally with, at least, exposure to basic programming



  • Exposure to Python and tools such as Jupyter notebooks, pandas and other libraries, and past work with APIs will be considered favorably



  • Experience extracting data from and automating research and report production with tools such as Capital IQ / S&P Market Intelligence / SNL Financial
