The Boeing Company is looking for a **Global Engineering & Operations Senior Manager** based out of **Saint Louis, MO.**


Successful candidate will lead the Midwest Global Engineering & Operations (GEO) LTVS Support Organization which is part of Boeing Test & Evaluation. GEO is responsible for all lab test mechanical/electrical design, stress analysis and manufacturing engineering supporting Commercial, Military and Space Programs.


This position will also have responsibilities associated with engineering and fabrication work placement at domestic and international sites including all global partners and suppliers. Responsible for providing status to program business partners as well as executive leadership.


The successful candidate will have a strong background in multiple technical disciplines along with a high aptitude for leadership and execution. Experience with Aero Test, Structural Test, Environmental Test, along with Additive Manufacturing are desired for this position. This position will be based out of St. Louis, Missouri and will be part of the Military and Space group within Global Engineering & Operations.


**Position Responsibilities:**


+ Manages employees and first-line managers performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Production Engineering

+ Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals and objectives

+ Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

+ Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

+ Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

+ Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-line managers

+ Travel for this position may be up to 10-25%


**This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.** An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.


**This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.**


**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):**


+ Bachelors Degree or higher in Engineering

+ 5+ years of engineering experience

+ 3+ years of experience in technical leadership

+ Experience Earned Value Management (EVM)


**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):**


+ Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM)

+ Experience in military or commercial program support

+ MBA or equivalent
