The Global Head of Talent Acquisition is accountable for the leadership and management of global talent acquisition activities by designing a TA operating model considering what can be globally harmonized and what must be kept regionally distinct. The Global Head of Talent Acquisition will construct a modern, sustainable, tech enabled talent acquisition infrastructure to globally centralize efficient processes and implement best practices. The Global Head of Talent Acquisition should have a proven track record as a thought leader and change agent to influence and build strong relationships with stakeholders rooted in trust, both internally and externally. The Global Head of Talent Acquisition will be a member of & collaborate closely with the Global People Leadership team and will be responsible for delivering against the firm's Global People strategy.
In particular, the role will:
Be responsible for oversight of all talent acquisition and employer brand partnerships, including Glassdoor, LinkedIn, etc., and provide recommendation to amplify our usage/brand expansion/etc.
Connect our EVP to our TA processes globally so that Edelman is positioned as THE destination for talent
Collaborate with Global Marketing to develop creative ways to communicate Edelman's distinctive employer value proposition to attract diverse talent communities
Build a best-in-class Global Early Careers program, which aligns with university partnerships
Lead overall operational efficiency, ensuring one hiring manager experience, one candidate experience globally and minimizing external search
Collaborate with Global Shared Service Function and manage talent acquisition transformation related to process, technology, and our structure to meet changing workforce needs
Unite and lead global talent acquisition team globally around the onE Edelman philosophy
Creates opportunities to drive standardization and further embed cost controls/risk mitigation into global recruitment processes
Collaborate with the TA team to determine our global and regional strategy for 'best place to work' awards and recognition
Manage the data integrity around talent acquisition activities to provide insights and recommendations to the business related to the recruitment process
With knowledge of TA disruptive technologies that impact recruiting, advocate for technology and influence others to understand and utilize to better source, build pipelines, and sustain substantial prospect/candidate relationships.
Identify, develop, and implement innovative sourcing strategies for key roles that result in quality talent pipelines to meet workforce needs now and in the future
Purposefully align Edelman's DEI focus with the global TA strategy to ensure the firm continues to be a top destination for diverse talent
Build Interviewing capability in the organization (among interview slate) - Tech advanced "tool-kit" creation
Monitor the competitive landscape; design and develop creative ideas to strengthen our market position as the employer of choice
Foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to understand business objectives to provide external insights on the talent market (i.e., demographic trends, employment projections)
Collaborate with People Team partners and business leadership on the workforce demand to meet overall business targets
Manage relationship with ATS provider, ensuring maximum ROI from the partnership and optimize enhancements to current platform - research and analyze future systems
Use strong analytical skills and ability to translate metrics, research, and trends to identify opportunities and initiatives for improvement
Set performance goals and metrics, timelines, and a formal tracking process to measure and manage progress
Ensure compliance with all federal / state laws and local legislation, and identify where customization is necessary to meet regulatory, privacy, legal or cultural requirement

BS/BA in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience; MBA or equivalent ideal
15+ years of Talent Acquisition (strategic & tactical) experience in a high-volume, matrixed recruiting environment and/or recruitment agency (entry-level to professional roles).
Experience influencing leaders across various disciplines and functions- inclusive of Marketing and Finance
Effective design and implementation of global standardized tools and technology that support the People and Business strategy.
Championed the development of sourcing and recruitment marketing to switch from reactive to proactive - drive relationship recruitment and builds pipelines of diverse talent for Recruiters to leverage on demand
Strong operational experience with modern recruitment tools and efficient processes
Ability to apply business acumen and drive operational excellence while anticipating and adapting to changing needs of the business - acknowledging competitive landscape that is in constant expansion
Depth of operational excellence with a fluency in research, innovation, insight, data, reporting, modeling structures, advancing best practices for optimal work product
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, required
Knowledge of organizational/operational structure techniques within a global context
Proven ability to assist with acquiring and growing business, and advancing internal initiatives
Develop relationships with key business and industry stakeholders, including global People leads
Ability to effectively prioritize and solve complex problems while making decisions with entrepreneurial mindset
