Currenex is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to help develop core services for our award-winning high frequency FX trading platform.
Currenex, a division of State Street Global Markets, builds and operates a market-leading foreign exchange trading platform that offers the FX community high-performance technology and deep pools

What You Will Be Responsible For
As a Senior Java Developer at Currenex, you will:
- design and build low-latency, distributed, Java trading applications that will handle massive
throughput and load
- collaborate closely with product management, QA and other development team members
- identify and implement best practices in coding and design, keeping up on the latest developments in
Java server-side technologies
- participate in code and design reviews, scrum-style team meetings, and retrospectives
- mentor other developers
- contribute your ideas to continually improving our applications and processes

- experience in a Linux environment and with its command-line tool
