Job Description
Intel develops Best-in-Class Graphics Technology that is a critical part of our major product lines. Accelerated Computing Systems and Graphics (AXG) is responsible for architecting the Core Graphics IP that is featured in these products.
The selected candidate for the role of Graphics Hardware Engineer, will work within a team focusing on class leading low power GPU architectures and designs to enable the next generation of portable computing.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Research and development of next generation low power Intel Graphics designs to continually improve IP targets.
Pre-silicon verification of Intel Graphics cores, focusing on 3D, Compute and Memory Fabric.
Improvement/creation/usage of tools/scripts to assist in research and validation of Intel Graphics cores.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum qualifications and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
Minimum Qualifications
Must have a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical / Computer Engineering or another directly related field of study.
You also must have 6 + months of experience in one, or more, of the following:
General architecture concepts understanding
Scripting languages, preferably Python
Programming experience of HDL (Verilog, SV, VHDL)
ASIC design flow knowledge
Verification principles exposure
Preferred Qualifications:
Hardware design
Verification - UVM or similar
3D Graphics
Understanding of low power design
