Job Description
The Accelerated Computing Systems and Graphics Group (AXG) is looking for a passionate Graphics Hardware Engineer with background in frontend and backend development or pre-silicon verification. This position provides a unique opportunity to mix and grow with multiple responsibilities in micro-architecture development, RTL coding and validation, or pre-silicon verification. The candidate will be part of the Graphics core IP team chartered with developing and delivering multiple generations of state of the art, highly configurable GPU Core IP to multiple clients, discrete graphics, and server SOCs. This is a hands on, highly technical individual contributor role.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Feature evaluations for power, performance, area, complexity, and effort tradeoffs
Develop IP collateral such as microarchitecture spec, design spec/RTL code, validation environment/checkers/trackers, test plans, white box coverage, or assertions
Drive initiatives to improve design or validation quality, efficiency, and velocity of the teams
Interact and work closely with architecture, design, simulation, SW/driver, and verification teams for development of highly efficient, feature rich, and high-quality IP

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
Minimum Qualifications:
              Must have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/ Computer Engineering or any related field.
Inside this Business Group
The XPU Architecture and Roadmap team (XAR) within the Intel Architecture, Graphics and Software (IAGS) Group is responsible for architectural definition, performance projection and optimization of Graphics and Media IP's for all Intel integrated and discrete graphics products. The GPU Projections Team (GPT) within XAR is specifically responsible for development of Graphics, Compute, and Media Power and Performance (PnP) projections, analysis and attainment of key power and performance indicators.

Work Model for this Role
This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
