Your future colleagues
The IBCM Controls team is embedded within the IBCM business and is considered as part of the "First Line of Defense". We support the business in designing and implementing processes and controls to ensure the business mitigates key risks and acts in accordance with rules and regulations, and CS policies and procedures. IBCM Controls represents IBCM at IB, firm wide and legal entity governance forums/committees which focus on non-financial risks (operational risks). An essential part of carrying out our role is partnering closely with team members from across the bank including: the IBCM business (e.g. COOs and Group Heads); central IB management teams and the second line of defense.
We are a globally distributed team with colleagues in New York, Raleigh, London, Frankfurt, Madrid, Warsaw, Hong Kong and Singapore. Whilst there is regional expertise, a core part of the team's directive is to collaborate globally to achieve efficiencies and consistency in the global approach. We operate a non-hierarchal structure and encourage team members across all levels to become subject matter experts, contribute ideas, chair meetings, deliver presentations and speak directly with team members. We are a department which values Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) and is committed to realizing the firm's D&I ambition which is an integral part of our global cultural values
