Position Summary:

We seek a dynamic and energetic person to assist us with these responsibilities. There are tremendous opportunities for growth and professional development. In addition to the technical responsibilities, the person will have these additional duties.   Be a team player  Self-motivated  Effortlessly work in a constantly demanding environment  Work under minimal guidance  Excel in Customer Service  Evaluate, test, and suggest new technologies  Documentation  Work closely with HSIS and UAB Central IT on integration.  Duties and Responsibilities: Provide Tier 2 support for our customers.  Configure PC/MAC computers, Troubleshoot hardware and software.  Support, maintain, and enhance DOM IT Internal HelpDesk applications and databases. Consult with vendors on troubleshooting and solutions.  Work closely with HSIS and UAB Central IT on integration.  Write documentation and knowledge base articles. Configure and troubleshoot printers, copiers, etc..  Maintain and support conference room equipment.  Write simple batch scripts to automate tasks Collect and maintain accurate annual inventory of all services compiled from various sources and repositories (i.e. SCCM, Casper, REDCap, Servers). Perform other duties as assigned

Salary Range: $47, 665 - $77,455



Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and three (3) years of related experience required. OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE.
