Infrastructure Engineer Lead, Core Technology Infrastructure

**Job Description:**



Enterprise Grid team in the CTO organization offers High Performance Compute (HPC) infrastructure for Bank of Americas to line of business to build integrated front-to-back system to manage positions, pricing, and risk management for all financial instruments across all Global markets and Risk business lines. We believe in high quality engineering culture to engineer our platforms with customer and platform mindset, design for large enterprise scale and resilience, and accelerate market innovation into the technical platforms we deliver.



Key responsibilities:



+ Confirm that application and business requirements have been translated into technical definitions, reference models, blueprints, and playbooks to guide development and integration of technology solutions.

+ Mentor Infrastructure resources on infrastructure service along with application integration validation methods and tools.

+ Review and guide the evaluation of reference models, blueprints and playbooks to ensure they are fit for purpose.

+ Review and may develop software solutions to address manual and repeatable work or inefficient processes.

+ Assist and mentor Infrastructure Engineers by ensuring that technology solutions comply with enterprise system design and engineering standards.

+ Contribute to the creation/selection of functional and non-functional product evaluation requirements within and across domains.

+ Review and guide the execution of on-site evaluations of third-party products being considered for firm adoption.

+ Promote an inclusive and healthy working environment and help to resolve organizational impediments/blockers.



Required SKills:



+ 7+ years experience in infrastructure

+ Experience as engineer deploying Grid / HPC based applications and current technologies / architectures including IaaS, PaaS, Docker, Kubernetes and Openshift.

+ Experience in engineering and deployment of large-scale Grid / HPC infrastructure / applications using containers

+ Experience with configuration of HPC job management and scheduling software such as IBM Spectrum, SLURM, or similar technology

+ GPU computation and CUDA Experience configuring and running Cluster Management Software

+ Strong knowledge and understanding of x86 and RHEL platform in relation to HPC on CPU and GPU (NVIDIA) platforms

+ Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Maven, BitBucket, Ansible, Artifactory, Sonar Qube in a cloud environment.

+ Development skills/tools: Java EE, Eclipse, Unix Shell Scripting, ANT, Python, Django Framework

+ Experience with CI/CD development processes and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Rally, Git)

+ Experience with SDLC development processes (Waterfall, Agile, Lean) and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Git, etc)

+ Experience building HPC application environments on Hybrid Cloud infrastructure, including services for big data analytics, scale out HPC applications, GPU-centric ML and deep learning

+ Strong knowledge and understanding of network technologies (e.g., TCP/IP networking, SSL, Firewall, Proxy, Load Balancing)

+ Experience with IT core applications like DNS, Active Directory, Kerberos, SMTP, Transactional DBs, Apache, etc.

+ Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team with direct responsibilities.

+ Experience in building large scale distributed enterprise platforms with focus on performance, scale, security, and reliability



Desired Skills:



+ Good understanding and work experience in an Enterprise Environment

+ Experience in middleware technologies, Openshift

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to adjust to technical and non-technical audiences across the organization

+ Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with local and remote co-workers

+ Good communication skills, self-motivated, positive attitude and ability to work in a global team environment

+ Proven timely delivery of key infrastructure and products

+ Ability to handle highly volatile support with platform and clients spanning multiple time zones

+ Resolve and influence the positive outcome of conflicting objectives and priorities

+ Experience creating technical documentation and training materials

+ Experience with on-premises based Private Cloud and Public Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud

**Jersey City pay range:**



$90,000 - $135,000

annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
