Job Description
The Senior Director of Contracts will play an integral role in Intel Federal's senior staff. They will handle the inception to closure of all contract lifecycle functions while managing the day-to-day operations of the contract team and creating a team environment. In addition to that, they will work across Intel and manage contract stakeholder relationships as the leader of IFL contract negotiations and management, including advising Intel's most senior executives and interacting with senior government officials.
The position will lead a team of contract managers that negotiates, drafts, and administers complex, high-profile contracts to deliver cutting-edge technology to government agencies and contractors. The position requires developing innovative procurement solutions to harness commercial innovation for government missions. This position is responsible for providing strategic direction to the team that makes certain all new and existing contracts are in compliance with company policy, as well as statutory regulations, and generated timely within the parameters required for internal and external deadlines.
This position is responsible for ensuring that the contract administration team is properly trained and educated on all existing/new regulations, policies and procedures, product information, systems, etc., in order to perform their responsibilities, accurately, efficiently and in a timely manner. Reports to the GM and President of Intel Federal, LLC.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

EXAMPLES OF WORK ASSIGNED
Develops and maintain a thorough understanding of Intel Federal's contract planning, solicitation, award, and management processes, including the applicable procurement laws and regulations.
Performs contract compliance reviews to determine compliance to contractual obligations.
Evaluates/monitors contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts.
Assist in the creation and implementation of goals and objectives; holds the team and team members accountable for accomplishing their goals. Creates a supportive environment that helps team members meet their objectives.
Implements approved policies and procedures; recommends, prepares, and implements policies pertaining to support renewals.
Directly participate in the review, drafting, and negotiation of contracts, including events, facilities, services, consulting and non-disclosure agreements, and statements of work.
Interface with business and procurement personnel on a variety of vendor and contract-related issues.
Serve as the leader of the contract negotiation process.
Prepare contracting reports and metrics.
Conduct market research and cost benchmarking.
Assists with managing customer escalations and processes, working directly with our customers (external and internal) and cross-functionally on resolution ensuring all issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner
Works closely with other departments involving the processing of maintenance contracts.
Oversees/Assist as needed with system changes and various projects.
Must be willing to relocate to Fairfax/DC area or travel frequently to DC area
Qualifications
Demonstrated capacity to engage with and effectively advise senior executives inside Intel, in the government, and with the Defense Industrial Base
Thorough knowledge of federal and local procurement practices.
Ability to express ideas and convey information effectively, both orally and in writing.
Knowledge of the Defense Industrial Base
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently and prioritize workloads and deadlines
Must possess outstanding research and analysis skills
Title 3 knowledge preferred
Must possess excellent English oral and written communication skills.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college and/or university (preferably in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field)
7+ years' experience in contract management.
Three (3) years' management or team-lead experience.
Strong understanding of strategic sourcing / RFP Process.
This position involves work on US Government Contracts and/or proposals for US Government Contracts that limit participation to US Citizens. A person may be required to provide proof of US Citizenship in order to comply with US government requirements. Any offer by Intel for this position is conditioned upon satisfying any government requirements regarding proof of citizenship.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
CCCM, CPCM, IACCM certifications strongly preferred.
Existing security clearance or willingness to get a security clearance

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$201,640.00-$322,920.00

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
