Perkins Coie is seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join its expanding Investment Management Group. Perkins Investment Management Group is at the intersection of technology and asset management and counsels advisers and asset managers with respect to their traditional asset management products as well as innovative products such as digital asset securities and investments in crypto assets. Matters include working with clients on the trading aspects of crypto and digital securities and advising emerging companies in the space. Applicants should have excellent academic credentials and one to four years of investment management experience. Applicants should have experience with the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Investment Company Act of 1940 and an interest in advising traditional asset management firms, fund boards and innovative start-ups. This position may be filled in New York City. In accordance with the New York City Human Rights Law, the base salary range in New York City for this position is $215,000 -$330,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. This range is specific to New York City and may not be applicable to other locations. The compensation for this position may also include a discretionary annual bonus.
