**Application / Team Overview:**
Citibank Commercial Cards offers card-based payment solutions to large corporations and federal and state governments for the procurement of goods and services as well as travel, entertainment, and fleet related expenses. Commercial Cards' strategic objective is to compete and differentiate based on global capability and customized solutions for high-value customers.
**Role Description:**
Commercial Cards Non-Functional Testing team is looking for a candidate who will take ownership of one or more applications Performance testing solutions & play SME role to engage with Development, Architect & Business team to gather the requirements & design the Performance testing approach to certify the application changes before Production deployments.
This role required to work closely with Global NFT team & expected to lead small team along with NFT practice manager on need basis. He/she requires exceptional communication skills across both technology and the business and will have a high degree of visibility. Person should have strong knowledge to lead Non-Functional Testing (Performance Testing & Engineering) for applications with complex architecture and should have exposure in monitoring, profiling & analyzing with industry standard tools.
The ideal candidate will be dependable and resourceful software professional who can comfortably work with the globally distributed stakeholders, dynamic work environment that fosters diversity, teamwork, and collaboration. The ability to work in high pressure environment is essential.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience.
+ 5-8 years experience in an IT Quality role. Min 1-2 years of experience in an IT Quality role
+ Ability to work independently or within groups on projects assigned.
+ Requires in-depth knowledge, understanding and analytical thought. Exhibits comprehensive knowledge of several areas within IT Quality and has a good understanding of the industry.
+ Strong understanding of testing processes. In depth understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle and solid experience in several phases of systems development, preferably in testing program management. Must demonstrate confidence in their abilities.
**Technical / Functional Proficiency:**
+ **Primary Skills:** Performance Testing & Engineering for UI , Batch Jobs & Data Warehouse ETL testing.
+ The implementation and execution of a performance test framework for non-functional testing (Load, volume, stress, capacity, Breakpoint, and scalability) which validate business non-functional requirements.
+ Support active contribution in creating performance testing artefacts including Performance test strategy and test plans/estimates, optimization & KPI reports.
+ A strong knowledge of / experience with profiling application end to end performance and identifying application and hardware / operating systems bottlenecks.
+ Experience in identifying and providing tuning recommendation for various infrastructure components such as Application Servers, Database Servers, Abinitio, Talend Servers and Web Servers.
+ Experience of working in Agile testing methodology & Attention to details and ability to automate repetitive tasks.
+ Good to have technical & programming knowledge with one or more languages i.e. Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, Ruby, etc.
+ Good to have exposure for developing stubs and drivers.
+ Good to have knowledge on other latest Performance Engineering & Performance Testing tools (i.e., CA Lisa Virtualization) and Open-Source performance testing tools (Apache JMeter, Web LOAD etc).
**Tools** :
+ **Tools:** MF Performance Centre with Web, Web Services (Rest, Microservices), MQ (Java), Database Testing (ETL), AWR analysis, AppDynamics Profiling, Kibana & Log Analysis, CA Service Virtualization (LISA).
+ A strong knowledge of Monitoring tools that allow for analysis of system health and potential bottlenecks. i.e., App Dynamics, Kibana, Splunk, BMC True Sight, etc.
+ In-depth knowledge and working experience with Performance Centre, App Dynamics, ITRS.
**Leadership Skills:**
+ Good collaboration & ability to communicate with technical & non-technical stakeholders.
+ Collaboration with other teams including Development, Architect, Business and Production Support.
+ Flexible to work across different Time zones supporting stakeholders across the globe.
+ Strong customer service focuses with the ability to communicate with highly technical management teams.
+ Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, both technical and functional.
+ Managing time and changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
+ Ability to provide quick turnaround to software issues and management requests.
+ Ability to assimilate key issues and concepts and come up to speed quickly.
