**Summary:**



Bank Of America is currently seeking an experienced UI Developer to support BPM Technology team.



**Required Skills:**



Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions. Special focus/expertise on User Interface (UI) technologies. Application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools. Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. May provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource. Will not have direct reports but may lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application. Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities. Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned engineers & developers.



**Desired Skills:**



+ Experience with the development models such as Agile and SDLC. Able to work in constantly changing environment.

+ Deep understanding of Object-Oriented OO design is a must.

+ Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices.

+ Understanding of software skills and development lifecycle from Business Analysis, to design, development, maintenance and improvement.

+ Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to develop robust, secure software.

+ Experience with GIT distributed version control, branching/merge strategies, and Bitbucket.

+ A solid understanding of Front-end design patterns and principals: Responsive Web Design, MVC, BEM, OOCSS, Event Delegation, Modules, Singletons,Prototypes, Mixins, Publish/Subscribe, XHR, Server-side vs client-side, etc.

+ A solid understanding of AJAX and how to fetch data from a service endpoint that can be used to render dynamic web content.

+ A solid understanding of semantic HTML and CSS3 (SASS), including layouts, responsive design, and accessibility (WCAG 2.1).

+ Experience with Front End and accessibility tools: Devtools, Web Fiddler, Visual Studio (or preferred IDE), JAWS, Voiceover, Talkback.

+ Comfortable reviewing a UX wireframe and building corresponding UI efficiently; Works with UX partners and identifies design risks proactively to deliver applications for high-traffic websites.

+ Familiarity with performance optimization tools (i.e. lighthouse) and techniques (image compression, lazy loading, bundling, sprites, etc.).

+ Familiarity with Node, NVM and NPM.

+ Experience with Vanilla JS (ES6) and modern Javascript frameworks and libraries (examples - Vue, React, Polymer, Angular, Handlebars, JQuery, and others).

+ Knowledge of test driven development and modern testing frameworks.

+ Experience with monitoring toolset like Splunk, Dynatrace.

+ 3+ years of web and rest services application programming experience J2EE/Java.

+ Working knowledge of software frameworks such as Struts, Spring, Spring MVC, Groovy, Scala, Open Source components, Rest API etc.
