KPMG is currently seeking a Lead Specialist Human Center Design in Transformation Delivery for our Consulting (https://advisory.kpmg.us/) practice.


Responsibilities:


+ Facilitate the design of engaging experiences (products, services, workshops, campaigns and others) that exceed people's expectations and achieve desired business outcomes

+ Manage a diverse team of KPMG personnel and client stakeholders as you collaboratively translate human insights and business requirements into a compelling future-state vision, creating tools such as workshops, journey maps, service blueprints, experience prototypes, user personas, research summaries, and stakeholder presentations

+ Lead user research, validation, and testing efforts (qualitative and quantitative) to ensure solutions are rooted in real-world user needs and deliver necessary functionality in ways that delight and drive adoption

+ Present and defend the value of user insights and the translation into the team's design solution to client stakeholders through storytelling in a way that inspires confidence and drives approval

+ Participate in business development efforts by helping craft approaches, estimates, and presentations for client proposals, including being the voice of design in customer presentations, telling our story and communicating the value our approach

+ Contribute to our community of Human-Centered Design practitioners, providing expertise and advancing KPMG's methods to ensure we remain at the forefront of our craft and relevant to our clients' greatest challenges


Qualifications:


+ Minimum five years of recent experience delivering Human Centered Design, Product/Service Design, Design Thinking, and/or Design Research and Strategy efforts as a client-facing professional in a consulting environment

+ Bachelor's degree in User Experience Design, Product Management, Graphic Design or related field from an accredited college or university

+ Advanced proficiency in current methodologies and frameworks such as Design Thinking, Primary and Secondary Research, Heuristic Analysis, Persona/Journey Mapping, Service Blueprinting, Rapid Prototyping, User Testing, and Agile Prioritization using tools such as Mural, Sketch, Figma, InVision, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office Suite, Jira and Confluence

+ Strong project portfolio that demonstrates effective problem solving through design, consulting, and execution, the connection of research insights to solution to business outcomes while leading and managing diverse teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience

+ Excellent consulting, facilitation and storytelling skills (oral, written and visual communication) with the ability to inspire, educate and persuade

+ Willing and able to travel to client and KPMG locations as needed
