Job Description

AWS Software Engineer

This role will be building cloud native solutions to support a variety of applications. Part of the responsibilities for this role are to help transform data being imported from various source databases, flat files, and APIs. Additionally, build and support serverless solutions for other work streams within the team. The candidate should have the ability to implement serverless solutions using AWS SAM and integrate into a Gitlab CICD system.

To Qualify for the role, you must have:

Expert in the following AWS services: S3, Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, CloudFormation, DynamoDB
Expert in NodeJS development (JavaScript or TypeScript)
Expert in the following database technologies: Relational Databases, Document Databases
Experience with one or more database technologies: MSSQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDb, DocumentDB, DynamoDB
Experience building event-based systems in AWS (SNS or Kenisis Event Triggers)
Strong experience using GIT, NPM, and building modular code.
Strong experience managing CICD scripts in Gitlab, CircleCI, TravisCI, Jenkins, or another CI platform.
Expert in communication skills, must be able to explain choices and direction to C-Level stakeholders.
Self-starter that requires minimal direction and is motivated and enthusiastic.
Can construct queries and stored procedures for backend databases.
