Job Summary
The Lead Systems Engineer, EDI will work closely with business application users and owners to design and maintain end-to-end EDI processes for conducting order to cash business.In this capacity, the incumbent will analyze EDI data exchange, EDI maps, EDI transport/messaging, and workflows between application endpoints and their relationships to current and future software solutions; work with integration developers to design EDI integration services, create EDI Maps, onboard EDI partners, and coordinate with a geographically distributed development team
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Design/code EDI workflow and maps, onboard new EDI partner, solve EDI issues and manage all EDI related activities.
Collaborate with customers to answer EDI question, resolve EDI problems, understand scope for new projects, documents risks and assumptions, develops the delivery approach, and estimates cost and timings
Perform EDI workflow code reviews to enforce standards and quality, perform gap and risk analysis of EDI system changes to ensure appropriate testing levels are performed
Works independently and leads assignments of medium to high complexity, provides direction to junior team members and/or external consultants, record progress, and prepare reports.
Partners with customer community to devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems or improve existing processes.
Interface with suppliers and vendors as needed to evaluate software, hardware or services and makes recommendations.

Education/Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology or related field with 6+ years of relative experience OR Bachelor's and Master's degree in Business, IT, or related field with 5+ years of experience required
3+ years experience in managing EDI based integrations, EDI Maps, EDI transports protocol such AS2, SFTP, EDI transport and data security.
3+ years of experience in creating and maintaining maps using EDI standards - ANSI X12 and EDIFACT with transaction 850,855,856,810,867,832,845 and others.
3+ years experience designing and developing workflow using EDI engines or middleware product like IBM Sterling B2B , TIBCO , Axway B2B, WebMethods and similar products.
2+ year of previous experience working as an EDI analyst
