We are seeking a strong **Technical Business Analyst** who is passionate about technology and interested in working in a highly dynamic team.


The Loan Pledging Application team is responsible to design, build and service a platform that supports Loans Pledging automation globally by working with the operations team and understanding the requirements from various Central Banks (i.e. Federal Reserve Bank, Banco de Espaa, Deutsche Bundesbank, etc.). Automation needs are met by understanding workflows and monitoring requirements as well as getting feeds directly into the systems replacing manual activities and providing as much straight through processing (STP) as possible.


**Responsibilities:**


+ Formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex projects and foster communication between business leaders and IT

+ Consult with users (loan operations) and clients (internal businesses) to solve complex system issues/problems through in-depth evaluation of business processes, systems and industry standards and recommends solutions

+ Support system change processes from requirements through implementation in a timely manner and provide input based on analysis of information

+ Consult with business clients to determine system functional specifications and provides user and operational support

+ Define and execute functional test cases, assist and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT)

+ Develop user interface mockups and define associated mappings between front-end and back-end objects

+ Define mappings of incoming data sources to the back-end and functional logic required for data transformation/processing

+ Identify and communicate risks and impacts, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment

+ Act as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts and work as a team to achieve business objectives, performing other duties and functions as assigned

+ Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

+ Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.

+ Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

+ Attendance at early AM or late PM calls with global colleagues expected from time to time.


**Essential Qualifications:**


+ **7-15 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Technical Business Analyst or similar capacity.**

+ **Strong and motivated individual contributor who also desires the opportunity to lead others.**

+ **Fast problem solver who can make and execute decisions quickly.**

+ **Excellent communication skills.**

+ **Working knowledge of SQL is essential, including an ability to write and troubleshoot queries**

+ **Strong ability to write technical requirements**

+ **Proven experience testing software applications from both front and back-end perspectives**

+ Demonstrated experience **working with developers and end users**

+ Involvement with **design documentation**

+ Ability to understand and modify entity relationship diagrams, system process flow diagrams, and architectural diagrams using contemporary tools like Microsoft Visio

+ Subject matter expertise of a financial business process and/or product - preferably, but not limited to loans servicing

+ Experience in data analysis with intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills

+ Proven interpersonal, data analysis, diplomatic, management and prioritization skills

+ Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication

+ Proven ability to manage multiple activities and build/develop working relationships amongst diverse peers

+ Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly

+ Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail


**Education:**


+ Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience required

+ Master's degree in Information Technology, MIS, Computer Science, Data Science helpful but not necessary


**Salary Range**


$120,710.00 - $181,070.00
