The Experience Design Manager role will lead the design of experiences that encapsulate Pfizer's values of courage, excellence, equity, and joy. The person in this important role will be essential to ensuring we design solutions that are frictionless, relevant, and intuitive, and be a true team player that can collaborate intensely with other designers and cross-functional stakeholders.
**How You Will Achieve It**
+ Apply your broad and deep competencies in UX and UI design to address complex customer experience challenges
+ Lead design efforts for key strategic design initiatives, designing innovative and intuitive experiences, products, and services
+ Lead creation of User Experience artifacts such as user personas, user journeys, user flows, low fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
+ Support project teams through design lifecycle phases including Research, Design, and Development, partnering with external creative agencies and technical vendors
+ Co-facilitate workshops which foster collaboration and result in a translation of user needs and business requirements into effective User Experience and Interactive Design concepts
+ Execute expert reviews of design work performed by partners to ensure they meet our standards as defined by Pfizer's Helix Design System inclusive of heuristics, design principles, accessibility, and any other relevant usability needs
+ Rapidly develop prototypes which demonstrate an experience vision or minimum viable product
+ Ensure the conceptualization of the experience design strategy aligns to the overall product vision through collaboration with Product Management
+ Support the team in evolving our Design System as well as establish main design standards
+ Communicate design process in a way that helps others grow and mentor experience designers in teams distributed through the organization
+ Identify opportunities to showcase Pfizer's design capabilities to the larger Pfizer audience
+ Provide subject matter expertise on Design during meetings with customers and business partners
**Qualifications**
**Must-Have**
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ 5+ years' role related experience
+ 3+ years of experience designing responsive customer-facing experiences (web, mobile, app).
+ Experience working in agile product development environments
+ Expertise in Figma, Sketch, and/or other common design and Prototyping tools
+ Expertise in Zeplin, Sympli.io or other similar tools for communicating design specifications
+ Strong communication and presentation skills, and proven ability to effectively get buy-in at all levels and across cross-functional teams
+ Strong understanding of and enthusiasm for user centered design principles
+ Strong rapid prototyping and wireframing skills
+ Experience leveraging design systems for design artifacts, activities, and decision-making
+ Ability to think critically; to recognize and anticipate a problem (technical, operational, process, organizational) and to identify and implement or communicate the best solution in a timely manner.
+ Superior communication skills and able to explain the 'why' behind the design, present concepts to senior leaders, and welcome feedback
+ Demonstrated effective organization and time management
+ Demonstrated ability to deliver results under aggressive schedules
+ Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
+ Ability to function in a dynamic work environment
+ Demonstrated experience of various Information Technology practices
+ Experience with System Application and Products eDoc framework
+ Familiar with product analytics and strong ability to carry out analysis related to customer journey, user activity, product/feature performance and other digital analytics
+ Understanding of Financial concepts and key success factors for business performance
+ Knowledge of management reporting requirements and functional design
