Job Title
Sofitel New York, an award-winning luxury hotel, is seeking a Marketing and E-Commerce Manager with minimum three years' experience working with an upscale or luxury hotel in a high demand, high profile market.

What you will be doing:
As the Marketing and E-Commerce Manager and in partnership with the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will coordinate and manage all aspects of digital, traditional and social media marketing campaigns, which include but are not limited to: research, campaign & content creation, execution, monitoring and reporting.
You will also create public relations and marketing opportunities by cultivating existing and developing new strategic partnerships relating to new business, promotions, news and accolades. Digital marketing responsibilities include, but not limited to: SEO best practices, PPC campaigns, META, and content management on websites and partner platforms.
Additional Responsibilities:
Key resource to marketing partners for analysis, content engagement and scoring to ensure maximum impact effectiveness and ROI.
Manage relationships with third party vendors and campaign partners
Create strategic growth opportunities including customer engagement, promote brand offers and optimize the online experience
Research top influencers, competitors, and trends in hospitality industry
Monitor sites for customer service opportunities and initiate conversations on behalf of the hotel
Analyze and report social media/E-Commerce actions on a monthly basis for successes and new opportunities
Create engaging and professional visuals that reflect the hotel and brand
Manage all aspects of property URL's, guest facing content, third party platforms and others as needed
Continue to refine and define our social marketing process
Ensure hotel printed collateral and digital presence is aligned with brand messaging and expectations.
Implement and evaluate database infrastructure for real-time analytics dashboards and reports for marketing and ROI
Frequent vendor partner and media facing activity requires flexibility including some nights and weekends.
Uncover and cultivate strategic partnerships along with Director of Sales and Marketing and General Manager
Active participation in community outreach with current strategic partners and industry related organizations.
Provides sales support developing marketing tools to help promote the property and delivery of sales messages.
Weekly and monthly reporting recaps.
Orchestrate video/film shoots and manage photography.
Collaborate with corporate office and regional teams.
Candidate brings exceptional verbal and written communication skills, is a self-starter who maintains a high level of professionalism in appearance and manner at all times.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Exceptional written and verbal skills with proven ability presenting to large and small groups.
Creative, open-minded thinker, combined with an analytical-minded strategist.
Create engaging and professional visuals utilizing brand assets and guidelines.
Possess passion for staying current with social media trends and tools.
Possess roll up your sleeves, do what it takes mentality.
Graphic design - Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign, Canva, others a plus
Experience working in Opera and Revinate (or similar platform) preferred
Ability to communicate in French desirable.

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
Candidates will be required to show proof of being vaccinated against COVID-19 upon commencing employment per New York City Guidelines.
