The Boeing Company is hiring a **Mid-Level Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer (Digital and Analog Circuits and Power Supply Design)** to join their team in **Hazelwood, MO** .


**Position responsibilities**


+ Develops Design Requirements and Plans

+ Design and Testing of DDR4 interfaces, SATA/SSD, 1G/10G Ethernet

+ Selection of components to be used in Avionics Electronics Designs, like but not limited to, DDR, memory, storage media flash, ethernet controllers

+ Strong understanding of ARINC 429, ARINC 818 and MIL 1553

+ Simulation experience and creation of behavioral models with MATLAB and Similar tools

+ Experience with Mentor suite of eCAD tools

+ Experience of a broad range of hardware types including RF assemblies, antennas, power supplies (alternating current/direct current (AC/DC)), FPGAs, digital signal processors, and embedded architectures

+ Experience of antennas, wave guides, gimbals, filters, complex electronics, RF signal processing, RF amplifiers, RF transceivers, Intermediate Frequency Processing, and/or serial rapid Input/Output (I/O) interfaces (SRIO)

+ Experience of digital and RF test equipment including signal generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes

+ Works with customers to develop and document electronic and electrical system requirements

+ Analyzes and translates requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications

+ Designs digital circuits and analyzes performance and parameters (e.g., throughput, rise time, clock frequencies, propagation delay) and utilizes hardware description languages (e.g., Hardware Description Language [HDL], Verilog)

+ Designs computer hardware and software components (e.g., processors, memory, interfaces, high order languages), and models results (e.g., throughput, processing architecture, timing, capacity)

+ Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements

+ Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements

+ Leads work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements in DOORS

+ Leads and coordinates work to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specification

+ Leads work to test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements

+ Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software

+ Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs

+ Reviews supplier and partner qualification data

+ LRU

+ COTS design/integration

+ Performs Trade Studies/Modeling (reliability and thermal)

+ Cross-functional coordination and integration


**This** **position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the listed location. On-site work will be at a minimum 3 of 5 days per week.**


**This position requires** **the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires** U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.


**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):**


+ Bachelor's in engineering degree or higher

+ Experience with digital circuit design

+ Experience with electrical circuit analysis

+ 4+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering


**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):**


+ Experience with digital/analog power electronics

+ Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Analysis experience

+ Electronics-oriented work experience

+ Qualification and certification

+ Systems Requirement and Decomposition





**Typical Education & Experience:**


Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.


Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
