**Responsibilities:**


In this role, the ETL administrator will assess infrastructure technology needs, and design, develop, and maintain software applications to support Citis Personal Banking and Wealth Management Technology (PBWMT) infrastructure. Experience with at least 1 ETL tool is a must, preferably Ab Initio, DataStage, or Talend. This role will require employees to execute the following day-to-day tasks.


Analyze, design, model, implement, optimize, and support Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) NAM environments for PBWMT applications and systems.


Interface with the DevOps Engineering, Solution Architecture, and System Administrator Teams to validate installation packages and guides, develop build specifications, and identify performance tuning areas in order to improve software system performance.


Leverage Citi Architecture and Technology Engineering (CATE) tools and technologies and apply Citi Architecture Standards to automate day-to-day job execution processes.


Promote ETL standards and best practices, monitor system performance, manage system patches, perform system health checks, and develop application self-service automation workflows (CI/CD code deployments, daemon starts/stops).


Provide technical support and troubleshoot controlled systems and test environments. Review test cases and test plans to support end-to-end application and integration testing, configure and deploy applications, and develop detailed support documentation.


Confer with multiple application teams and work with various application architectures to adapt global Service-Oriented Architecture and Middle-Tier standards, coordinate scheduling, prepare regular operations metrics reports, and implement Citis technology security policies.


Co-produce work, work reviews, work signoffs, and respectful peer approvals. Collaboration with other team members is required especially for higher environments due to maker/checker change control procedures. Employees have the ability to influence each others decisions since team collaboration is required during change control procedures.


Mentor onsite and offsite teams to support various software applications in multiple countries.


**Qualifications:**


**Minimum**


+ 5+ years of relevant experience in ETL Administration

+ Familiarity with Unix / Linux / AIX and shell scripting

+ Have worked with such tools or similar tools as: Ab Initio, DataStage, Talend

+ Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills

+ Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience


**Preferred**


+ Experience working in Financial Services, or a large complex and/or global environment

+ Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities, and related reporting to identify best practices
