**Boeing Global Services** (BGS) is seeking a **Project Management Specialist** ( **Level 3** ) for an exciting career growth opportunity on the P-8A United States Navy (USN) / Joint Program Office (JPO) Training program located in St. Louis, MO. Reporting to the P-8A USN / JPO Training Program Manager, the successful candidate will lead the development and delivery of P-8 Navy and Joint Program training solutions.
**Position Responsibilities**
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
+ Schedules project management activities to ensure P-8A Training System program requirements are established and integrated
+ Establishment and use of program management best practices (PMBP) to manage budgets, maintain schedule, identify and mitigate risks and issues, and develop and promote program goals
+ Partnering with engineering leadership and cross functional teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and execution is being met
+ Supporting the program manager in leading program execution by coordinating and tracking program metrics
+ Building rapport and trust among stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget
**This is a hybrid position that allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at Hazelwood, MO.**
**This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.** An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
**Basic Qualifications** ( **Required Skills** / **Experience** ):
+ Experience with managing projects across cost, schedule, quality, and technical
+ Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
+ Experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
**Preferred Qualifications** ( **Desired Skills** / **Experience** ):
+ Experience in project management and ability to self-manage projects
+ Experience in a customer-facing role
+ Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), Agile, Project Management, or Product Management certification(s)
+ Experience with developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders
**Typical Education & Experience** :
Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years related work experience, a Masters degree and typically 4 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
