Better requires process discipline and simplification

You will be responsible for the development and production of promotional assets for Western Union, westernunion.com, the WU mobile platform and its affiliate partners. The role requires professional experience using industry leading software and a deep understanding of graphic design fundamentals and best practices web technologies. The Designer needs to have strong organizational skills coupled with the ability to manage their own project timelines and deliverables. Must collaborate well with others and have a passion for great design and multi-channel marketing.

Here are the main responsibilities for the role:

• Demonstrate the ability to follow style guidelines and incorporate verbal direction into all projects.

• Follow through with all creative initiatives with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.

• Stay on brand to fit varying needs and styles of Western Unions product partners.

• Possess knowledge of design fundamentals including adjustment layers, masks, filters, smart objects, and color separation.

• Assure that incoming materials conform to Western Unions site and platform specifications.

• Proof outgoing work to ensure that assets meet content, legal and brand requirements.

• Collaborate and work pro-actively with the regional marketing managers.

• Organize, manage and track time for all projects.

• Responsible for leading video production and animation development for APAC region and selected global campaigns.

Here are some skills, attributes, and qualifications you will have:

• Minimum of three years experience as a graphic designer in one of the following areas: Interactive, Agency, or E-commerce

• Professional experience using the latest version of adobe creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Animate, XD, After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc.).

• Strong organizational and planning skills with theabilityto manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines.

• Strong communication skills: diplomatic and professional with strong written and verbal skills.

• Strong problem solving skills and detail oriented.

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required.

• Print, digital, video production and storyboarding skills are required.

• UX/UI skills are a plus.

Presentation of your own portfolio is required.
