A Day in the Life
In this role, you will be part of a high-performing team and will develop multimedia enhanced labelling for the entire diabetes portfolio (pump systems, continuous glucose monitoring, insulin pens). You will conceptualize and execute 2D and 3D animation designs for educational and regulatory purposes. You will also support the production of customer facing product documentation, including but not limited to: Electronic Instructions For Use (eIFUs), Get Started Guide (GSG), and more. This includes labelling for clinicians and patients accompanying medical products that meet the Medtronic documentation and quality assurance standards.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Works with UX Designers, Human Factors, Clinical Education, Technical Communications and Regulatory teams
Works closely with internal company contacts to understand requirements and create cost efficient graphic designs through available mediums
Conceives, designs, lays out, and coordinates medical illustrations and animations
Works collaboratively, in real-time, with vendors and other animation specialists
May provide computer graphic services for print and web medical labeling
Provides guidance on 2D and 3D animation technology and trends
Aligns with Medtronic Customer Centered Design perspective
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree and 4 years of biomedical animation experience OR advanced degree and 2+ years of biomedical animation experience
Nice to Have
Advanced knowledge of Blender 3D pipeline - modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing, and motion tracking
Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects
Previous medical labeling experience
Experience working in quality systems (e.g., Agile)
Experience with solutions and labeling Software (e.g., MAPS XD)
Knowledge of Diabetes medical devices (pump systems, continuous glucose monitoring, insulin pens)
Ability to handle multiple projects on an ongoing basis
Experience with regulatory implementation programs
Strong problem solving/ troubleshooting skills related to systems
Comfortable learning and using new computer systems and programs
Experience working in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop,
Experience working in GIMP, Figma, Inkscape
Experience working in business systems including Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
Experience working with global teams
