**Job Description:**



The ISG Fixed Income Sales Trading team provides individual bond solutions to HNW clients and family offices globally. The team helps advisors and their clients with all aspects of their fixed income allocations. This includes daily advice and guidance, market color, portfolio review and trade execution and is done primarily thru the firms electronic systems. The Municipal Trading Specialist will play a key role supporting all aspects of the platform, including monitoring and catalyzing development of the technology systems, analyzing the trading flow from a client segment and channel perspective, optimizing our trading approaches (e.g. electronic vs. high touch) based on key factors (e.g. liquidity, trade size, etc), and developing ongoing strategy for the business to best serve advisors and clients.



**Key Responsibilities:**



+ Ensure high level of efficiency for fixed income platforms

+ Proactively identify and resolve platform deficiencies

+ Monitor in-flight projects and gather current/long-term business needs

+ Increase platform efficiency through innovation

+ Partner with Fixed Income trading team to understand pain points and opportunities to provide gains in functionality and scale

+ Lead technology development, in partnership with Technology team, to effect platform improvements

+ Partner closely with key stakeholders, such as governance, legal, risk, and compliance to ensure new technology builds satisfy all requirements

+ Maintain key trading data around all platforms across all client segments

+ Ensure platform development is in line with Capital Markets strategy, including scalability and resiliency of core trading systems

+ Identify opportunities to leverage platform technology in the ultra-high net worth space, including tools that can demonstrate the value of Fixed Income capabilities in client portfolios



**Required skills:**



+ 3-5 plus years of experience optimizing a trading platform, including managing communications.

+ Knowledge of Bond and Fixed Income Market

+ Strong drive to learn, improve and create value

+ Skilled in project and process management, with the ability to lead lengthy projects across large working groups

+ High level thinker who can manage complex topics and distill down to first principles

+ Strong data analytics experience required and data science expertise preferred

+ Ability to rapidly learn new subjects / concepts

+ Excellent verbal and written communication

+ Ability to craft presentations for a range of audience types, including senior leadership

+ Keen awareness of risk and compliance issues

+ Strong resourcefulness and the ability to adapt to a range of new situations

+ General understanding of fixed income markets and OTC execution framework

+ Advanced technology skills - database

+ Multi-tasking and ability to work under pressure

+ Experience with MS Office, Excel and Bloomberg



**Desired:**



+ MBA or other advanced degree

+ Basic understanding of FINRA/MSRB regulations
