Network Analyst

System Innovators, a division of N. Harris Computer, is seeking an experienced Network Analyst who, under minimal supervision, will design, develop, and maintain computer systems required to operate our hosted cloud environments. The Network Analyst must be an expert with networking protocols with regard to configuration, security, and troubleshooting various network-related issues within the environments running our software. The Network Analyst has a strong understanding of Network Load Balancing practices, SSL Certificate installation and configuration, network protocols, and a proven track record of troubleshooting and supporting various network topologies. In this role, your duties will include analyzing network performance, providing network support, and performing system maintenance tasks. To ensure success as a network analyst, you should exhibit extensive experience in configuring networks and providing IT support. Key Responsibilities:
Analyzing and monitoring network performance.
Provide Level 2 support when appropriate escalation is needed
Resolving complex problems of network services and applications
Configuring hardware and software to optimize network communication.
Monitoring and maintaining network servers and performing upgrades.
Delivering quality timely results while managing competing priorities
Improving overall service and efficiencies of the Network support processes
Performing system administration tasks and ensuring network security
Documenting processes and monitoring network performance metrics
Consulting with internal departments and third-party vendors to troubleshoot, resolve problems, and train support staff
Keeping up with advancements in network technologies and solutions.
Following standards and guidelines of the organization, team, and industry related to change management and technologies to implement solutions
Qualifications:
Associate of Science degree in computer network administration.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or management information systems would be advantageous
2-5 years of experience as a network analyst, or similar
In-depth knowledge of hardware, software, and network installation techniques
Exceptional ability to provide network support and resolve errors
Advanced knowledge of network setup and security
Ability to keep up with advancements in IT network technologies
Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics
Exceptional communication skills
Windows operating system experience
A foundational understanding of:
Network architecture and IP routing
Systems management: Windows servers, scripting, log management, software distribution, and patch management
Documentation standards with system and network flow diagramming
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Self-motivated while working in a team or as an individual contributor
