JOB SUMMARY




IT Support Manager will be responsible for implementing, supporting and maintain the applications under the ERP portfolio including




  • Oracle EBS Finance modules including Payables, General Ledger, Fixed Assets



  • Oracle EBS Supply Chain modules including iProcurement, Purchasing, iSupplier portal and Supplier Lifecycle Management



  • Oracle EBS Inventory Management



  • EIS Reporting



  • Visual Manufacturing application



  • Oracle EBTax



  • Vertex applications








DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Manage the day to day support activities of several Applications (listed above)



  • Provide transparent reporting to upper management regarding teams performance



  • Identifying potential problems and recommend alternative solutions; provide technical changes, perform impact analysis in the application



  • Understanding and interpreting Oracle EBS touch points with various custom applications and support/resolve integration issues.




MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS








  • Bachelors and 10 Years experience.



  • Provide and coordinate technical direction for the development, design and integration of the identified system platforms to meet project timelines and goals.



  • Technically strong and experienced enough to be able to design and develop Oracle Applications FRICEW components, OA Framework components, Oracle J-Developer, Oracle Work Flows, Oracle AME, BI/XML Publisher reports, Unix Shell-Scripting, Interfaces and Conversions. Write the SQL queries and PLSQL code with best possible performance.



  • Ability to work with tools including Putty, toad, SQL Developer, and Version control



  • Ability to understand and work with modules such as General Ledger, iProcurement, iSupplier, Enterprise Asset Management, AME (Approvals Management), Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Internet Expenses and Accounts, and Receivable modules of Oracle Applications R12



  • Diagnose and solve system problems while working under pressure to meet aggressive deadlines in a limited resources environment. Proven interpersonal skills, with ability to work productively and professionally with any level of business and technical resource.



  • Ability to deliver end-to-end solution development tasks including identifying the issue, configuration, development and testing. Work effectively with oracle support to resolve service request (SR) issues



  • Able to utilize the in-depth knowledge developed from implementing and rolling-out ERP applications particularly Oracle EBS to quickly understand and address the issues arising out of the implementation projects at Nabors including Master data management including Item master, Vendor master etc., Item Categorization, Approvals management for various documents including PR, PO and Invoices using AME.



  • Create detailed technical design documents based on Oracle AIMs methodology; Code review according to the Oracle ERP coding standards.



  • Perform analysis oversight and guidance of the designed solutions provided by technical analyst.



  • Manage technical resources as assigned; review work of team, keep team well informed of project/implementation changes and goals, identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change, manage the teams progress against deliverables and milestones and revise them as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.



  • Develop work plans, goals, and objectives, and evaluates project progress in relation to unit activities.



  • Manage and provide direction to technical contracting resources.



  • Support the development lifecycle of identified systems and manage technical risks.



  • Lead regular status meetings with the technical team to ensure development objectives are being achieved.



  • Understand identified systems from a functional perspective in order to map requirements to technical features and keep current on related technology trends and advancements to aid in continual application life cycle improvements.



  • Respond to after-hours calls for the escalation and technical support of critical processes.



  • Hands-on experience on the resolving critical issues that could cause business disruptions including document processing errors, approval failures, portal issues, interfacing failures etc.,
