The Boeing Phantom Works team is currently seeking an **Associate Software Engineer** to work in **Berkeley, MO.** Were seeking a highly talented, motivated, and creative software developer to support the existing and new capabilities of a leading-edge technology program.


The software engineer will experience the entire software lifecycle from working with customers establishing requirements to product deployment in customer systems. Our small team provides opportunity to quickly develop engineering skills with potential for growth into leadership positions.


**Position Responsibilities:**


+ Develop C++ code for leading-edge technology demonstration systems.

+ Work with customers to develop user interfaces and other system requirements.

+ Design, develop, test, and peer review component and system level software.

+ Develop models and simulations to support software verification and demonstration.

+ Develop, document and maintain software requirements, architectures, interfaces, algorithms and designs.

+ Develop software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met.


**This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite Berkeley, MO.**


**This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).** (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)


**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):**


+ Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

+ 2+ years of experience in C++ programming


**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):**


+ Experience in Microsoft Visual Studio or Eclipse

+ Experience with ClearCase, ClearQuest, Git, JIRA, Bit Bucket, Docker or Kubernetes

+ Experience with real-time embedded software development


**Typical Education/Experience:**


Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Note: Basic relocation will be offered for eligible internal candidates.
