\tLead all aspects of engagements with existing and new customers for a startup business within the Navigation & Sensors GBE focused on expanding our market share in the Weather Forecasting segment. This exciting new business is leveraging HON soft-target LiDAR technology to displace traditional atmospheric sensors. You will build relationships and understand customer business needs to help define offering requirements and/or solutions. You will define the sales and growth strategy toward key customers while aligning with critical sales business objectives. You will identify opportunities and build credibility with customers in the Missile Test Range, Space Launch, and National Weather Service market segments. You will utilize your product knowledge to deliver the value proposition to the customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify Opportunities and New Customers

  • Define the sales strategy to increase market share

  • Manage and Plan Accounts

  • Negotiate and Close

  • Articulate and Deliver Value Proposition

  • Manage Momentum Through the Sales Cycle

  • Establish Rapport with Customers

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3+ years of prior experience selling to Government and/or Weather Forecasting Customers

  • Must be US citizen due to export laws


WE VALUE

  • Significant experience in a Sales/Account Management related field

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment

  • Experience selling recurring revenue model offerings: Data or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) models
