The Role:

Lattice Engines is looking for a high-caliber, well-rounded technology professional with experience designing and managing various server and network technologies to join its SRE/DevOps Operations team. The candidate will be instrumental in the design, implementation and management of our SaaS production environment to host our predictive analytics solution. The candidate will be someone who is adept at keeping up-to-date with the latest technical trends; can commit to and meet tight deadlines.

What You'll Do:

1. Contribute/whiteboard the design, implementation, monitoring and maintenance of our platforms.

2. Instrumental in driving high availability and disaster recovery to meet customer SLAs.

3. Observability and visibility into all systems via dashboards.

4. Quick debugging and root cause analysis.

5. Responsible for internal networks, VPC, VPNs etc..

6. Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.

Requirements (Must Have):

1. Strong Linux / EC2 systems administration and experience.

2. Experience using deployment automation / configuration management (Chef, Ansible, Jenkins, CloudFormation).

3. Hadoop / Spark / EMR experience.

4. Experience in administration and performance tuning of application stacks (Tomcat, Apache).

5. Good understanding of different application designs and operational trade-offs of each.

6. Experience supporting and operating a hybrid environment of on premise and AWS production environment.

7. Certificate related experience and administration.
