Northrop Grumman Mission Systemsis seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer to join our team inSan Antonio, Texas.At Northrop Grumman, youll have the resources, support, and team to do some of the best work of your career.

**Overview / Responsibilities:**

The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have familiarity with Agile and Scrum methods, hands-on technical experience with relevant industry tools, and a demonstrated ability to identify and solve challenging technical problems. The position itself consists of scripting various languages including Ansible, Python, or PowerShell to automate labor intensive repetitive tasks, development of the release cycle, and will operate within a continuous integration environment that emphasizes verifiable secure components and processes. Other responsibilities may include utilizing Versioning Repository tools, Continuous Integration Frameworks, Application Containerization, Automation Deployment, Code Quality and Code Security Scanning tools.

**This Position will serve on-site in San Antonio, TX and may be filled at either the Principal or Sr. Principal level.**

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Principal Level: Bachelor's degree in related field with 5 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience, or a Ph.D. and 0 years of experience.
+ Sr. Principal Level: Bachelor's degree in related field with 9 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 7 years of experience, or a Ph.D. and 4 years of experience.
+ Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of experience.
+ Software development or scripting experience.
+ One year of hands on experience with Kubernetes is required. In addition, experience with relevant tools in at least two of the following CI/CD areas is also required: Test Automation, CM/artifact management, data storage and retrieval, GitOps, Monitoring, Security Automation.
+ Candidate must have ability to obtain and maintain US Security Clearance, at least up to Top Secret. This requires US Citizenship.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Recently held or currently active US Security Clearance.
+ Advanced degree in a technical field.
+ Experience implementing DevSecOps for large program using Agile development methods.
+ Experience operating in a commercial or private cloud such as AWS or Azure using Helm, Ansible, Terraform, Twistlock, and Docker.
+ Active DOD 8140 certification or technical certification in above listed technologies.

Salary Range: $96,400.00 - $144,600.00Salary Range 2: $119,400.00 - $179,200.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
