The Foster School of Business' Global Business Center has an outstanding opportunity open for a Non-Permanent Program Operations Specialist.

Project Responsibilities:

Marketing of Study Abroad and Global Business Programming
-Implement outreach and promotion plan for undergraduate study abroad at the Foster School. This includes: (50%)

-Managing and editing the GBCs online presence including the website and Canvas page.
-Overseeing the Foster UGs Go Global student blog.
-Managing weekly GBC Undergraduate Team event and program outreach through Canvas posts and the GBC Undergraduate Weekly Newsletter involving coordination with the GBC team and wider Foster community.
-Designing visual content for the GBCs social media accounts, digital displays, posters, fliers, emails, presentations, Canvas, Trumba and the GBC Undergraduate Weekly newsletter.
-Implementation of a promotion plan throughout the quarter both online and in person.
-Presentation of brief promotional overviews in undergraduate classes, student clubs, and tabling fairs on campus, and administer a study abroad survey to students quarterly.

Event Planning and Project Management
-Planning, marketing, managing, and executing the Foster School Study Abroad Fair. This is the most important marketing opportunity of the year involving 200+ students and 20+ faculty and staff. (15%)
-Manage the Foster Study Abroad Photo Contest involving promotion, judge recruitment, and logistics. (10%)
-Event support for the GBCs Global Case Competitions including the Russell Investments International Case Competition. Involving support of Case Competition Manager, event promotion, volunteer management and day of event logistics. (15%)
-Support GBC Team members on student events including study abroad info sessions, Fostering Global Connections on- and off-campus events, student mixers and kick-off events, and other events as they arise throughout the quarter. (10%)

Qualifications

A Bachelors degree at least three years of program management, marketing, student services/counseling/recruitment experience or related experience.

Event planning experience
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience with Canva, graphic design and social media promotion
Flexibility with work hours: weekends and evenings often required

Desired

Experience with UW systems is a preferred.
