DUTIES:
Perform financial, economic and qualitative data collection and analyses of a variety of projects and programs across multiple Project and Program Management business line.
Create multifunctional trackers for multi-million capital infrastructure projects and programs using advanced Excel and Business Intelligence tool.
Conduct research and analysis before preparing reports and making recommendations based on findings.
Create reports and presentations in both Excel and PowerPoint.
Perform various analytic tasks to support strategy, business/financial planning and operations.
Collect data and prepare various forecasts on key project and program financial metrics on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis across the entire Metro NY project and program portfolio using AECOM project management software.
Support Project Managers in managing company project management software systems.
Plan and monitor the status of projects and programs in construction phase, while analyzing potential risks and impacts to both operational and financial performance.
Manage programs and projects to ensure successful delivery of the scope of work.
Utilize scope of work and identify potential change order requests, provide support in subconsultant management on programs and projects with emphasis on billing, invoicing reviews and reconciliations.
Assist Project Managers by performing financial, economic and qualitative data collection and analyses.
Perform various analytic tasks to support strategy, business/financial planning, and operations.
Assign projects/programs/portfolios for Deputy Project Managers.
Support corporate initiatives and projects for Operations.
Attend Financial Issue and Actions meetings with Metro NY senior management to track and follow-up on action items.
Supervise the project control team for East region including Deputy Project Managers and Project Manager Assistants under Project and Program Management Business Line.
Coordinate with Business Lines and corporate departments to collect and analyze data to prepare reports required by Metro NY senior management.
Utilize the following tools and software: Autodesk (AutoCAD and Revit), BIM 360, Primavera P6/Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, Power Bi Dashboard Development and Power Automate.
Assist Director of Operations on operational business initiatives.
Provide business solutions and insights for various issues: financial issues, project performance issues, cost control issues, project payable issues, subconsultant/subcontract management issues, project portfolio profitability issues and legal issues.
Minimum Requirements
Requires a Masters degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Construction Management and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience planning and monitoring the status of projects and programs in the design and construction phase, while analyzing potential risks and impacts to both operational and financial performance; providing business solutions and insights for various issues: financial issues, project performance issues, cost control issues, project payable issues, subconsultant/subcontract management issues, project portfolio profitability issues and legal issues; and utilizing the following tools and software: Autodesk (AutoCAD and Revit), BIM 360, Primavera P6/Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Power Bi Dashboard Development and Power Automate.
