Project Manager - Branch Operations Simplification - Hybrid

This position is responsible for assessing and supporting opportunities to simplify and automate operational processes in the retail branch network, in order to increase efficiencies for both operational and sales functions. Ultimate implementation of the identified initiatives should result in a tighter control environment with an enhanced client experience (internal and external). Crafting innovative solutions and working with internal stakeholders and technology partners to bring the automated opportunities to fruition is key. The candidate must possess extensive knowledge of risk/control activities, excellent analytical and judgment skills, and strong organization, and communication skills. The candidate must have strong project management skills, able to demonstrate a history of leading complex projects. Experience off the retail branch environment is preferred but not required.


**Job Responsibilities**


+ Assist in the evaluation of the branch control environment for simplification and digitization opportunities using execution trend and value analysis

+ Look across all lines of business and channels to identify innovative solutions for current branch controls and operational reviews/procedures which will lead to increased efficiencies for branch sales and operations teams, as well as improving the client experience

+ Be an integral part of Run Fix Change Automation PODs to further automate controls and monitoring resulting in a stronger control environment. Directly link these back to the broader work that the Operations Simplification and Automation team work on

+ Work with the broader Branch Sales and Support team to identify and deliver solutions via detailed rollout plans containing field communications, impact to branch capacity, and specific educational components on future work releases

+ Within the existing book of work and responsibilities of the Branch Operations Simplification and Automation Team, assist in

+ Expanding branch eSignature processes via DocuSign throughout the Branch Network with full digitization as the desired end state

+ Ensure compliance with applicable FDIC documentation requirements for joint accounts in order to complete certification for FDIC Rule 370, including long term systemic, automated controls

+ Proactively identify solutions to better authenticate clients across all channels

+ Ongoing creation/enhancements of systemic outbound calling controls to adhere to TCPA regulatory requirements

+ Successfully managing CAPs/Self-Identified issues

+ Assist in the creation of a Digital Operations Dashboard that will digitize existing review responsibilities, streamline review functionality, and create a centralized repository of information for monitoring partners to have access to

+ Assist in the coordination of project plans, initiative trackers, Book of Work, and executive summaries for the team (and Senior Leadership as required)

+ Actively engage and influence key business and functional partners to achieve optimal business outcomes

+ Partner with stakeholders and field leadership to drive process development, implementation and execution support

+ Provide support and act as subject matter expert for cross line of business streamlining initiatives that impact branches


**Qualifications/Skills**


+ 5+ years of experience in an operations, sales, or re-engineering role

+ Prior experience leading complex projects across multiple teams

+ Proven history of self-identifying processes for enhancement/automation

+ Proactive and forward thinker

+ Ability to partner, present and negotiate with various levels of the organization across all lines of business and channels.

+ Self-starter willing to challenge existing processes in order to create systemic solutions to provide a tighter control environment

+ Multi-tasking skills with ability to work on multiple complex projects and meet strict deadlines

+ Excellent communication skills and proven ability to interact with all levels of the organization

+ Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem solving skills required

+ Strong command of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint (Visio experience is a plus)

+ Retail banking knowledge of processes, policies, and controls related to sales, service, and operations is preferred but not required
