This is a hands-on technical role requiring extensive current experience designing, building and adopting large scale, cross-functional automation frameworks with well-balanced coverage across UI, back-end integration and database levels.

The ideal candidate is an experienced software Automation Architect with strong problem-solving skills and a solid software testing foundation. The role requires a detail orientation, a passion for quality coupled with the ability to grasp tough issues quickly and deliver well engineered, high quality solutions.

This position will design and deliver complex quality engineering automation frameworks, tools and other solutions for software development and deployment initiatives to ensure the software meets quality expectations. This role will provide subject matter expertise and direction to internal stakeholders to ensure best practices and enterprise standards are utilized and implemented throughout the automation effort. The candidate will have deep hands-on experience with testing methodologies, automation techniques, tooling for functional, non-functional test automation, latest industry trends and best practices and integration with DevOps. The individual will have a full understanding of different test automation approaches (keyword-driven, Data-driven, TDD, BDD) and technology stacks (Java, Python, JavaScript, Groovy etc.) and the ability to develop custom test automation methodologies and adapt them to clients' needs. They will also have the ability to integrate test automation into CI/CD process and instrument full SDLC automation.

This role will require an individual who can improve process and quality via test and process automation, defining the right strategy and technology based on process and architecture assessment by engaging different roles and stakeholders.

A deep practical experience with cutting edge tools for Web, Desktop, DB and Web-service testing (Selenium, Ready API, etc.) and strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be required.

Experience in in identifying test data management needs and creating a strategy is a must.

Financial services industry experience is preferred.
