The Role:

The QA Tester designs, creates, maintains and executes functional test cases, test suites and test plans to determine if software meets the defined requirements. The QA Tester reviews manual test cases to determine if they need to be automated and then automates them. This is a hands-on testing role that requires excellent testing, automation, organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze requirements and design, build and execute test cases to assure the quality of the application under test.

  2. Be able to load, manage and track test cases in our test management tool JIRA.

  3. Provide detailed, statistic-based status reports.

  4. Ability to develop and execute various types of tests including: functional, system, integration, end-to-end, black box, regression, API and batch testing.

  5. Experience with performance and load testing (JMeter etc.).

  6. Experience with automation testing (QTP, Selenium etc.).

  7. Experience with Agile methodology and the ability to recognize opportunities for enhancement and continuous improvement.

  8. Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of technologists and business team members including offshore team members.

  9. Ability to coordinate and work with globally distributed teams.

  10. Test management - manage and prioritize testing to meet the milestones, deadlines and goals of the project.

  11. Test Automation - Automate key workflows using Java, Selenium on BDD Framework.

  12. Experience with Mobile testing Appium, Test Complete etc.

  13. Experience with Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Analytics

Key Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar work experience

  2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance or development.

  3. Minimum 3-5 years of technical project experience, testing through a full system development life cycle.

  4. Minimum 3-5 years of experience with business user acceptance testing.

  5. Minimum 3-5 years of experience using test management software, JIRA knowledge preferred.

  6. Minimum 3+ years of experience with automation testing (Java, Selenium, BDD framework)

  7. Basic knowledge of SQL and other data retrieval methods.

  8. Software Testing Certification preferred.

  9. Experience analyzing project requirements and ability to create test strategy, test plan and test cases.

  10. Ability to lead all test related meetings with all levels of staff.

  11. Ability to work independently, and as a team player, while using discretion in decision making and sound judgment in problem solving.

  12. Ability to manage multiple projects / tasks simultaneously.

  13. Must be able to troubleshoot and clearly document issues.

  14. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.

  15. Must have the ability and desire to quickly learn new skills and technologies.

  16. Experience with Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Analytics
