SUMMARY
We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join the Sparta TrackWise Digital Quality Engineering team. You will partner with product management, development, architecture, customer support, and professional services stakeholders to deliver quality features that enhance the experience of our customers. You will utilize approaches that bring quality further upstream and share actionable data that keeps quality top of mind. We need someone who is technically strong, energetic, highly collaborative, and passionate about the product and our customers. This is a key role executing on Quality Engineering initiatives such as advancing test automation, increasing test coverage, and reducing escaped defects. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


·        Work with a team of TrackWise Digital quality engineers to ensure the highest quality product delivery and monitor metrics to gauge progress against quality goals.

·        Understand how all components and interfaces of the product work together and develop QE approaches to fit the overall product architecture.

·        Support product teams in ensuring high product quality through exploratory and functional testing techniques

·        Develop software test strategies and test scenarios, analyze test results, and maintain test suites.

·        Develop automation scripts for validating the product User Interface (UI) and web services (API).

·        Participate in defect reviews during the release process to ensure resolution and systemic root cause removal, and support other root-cause analysis exercises

·        Act as a change agent within the Sparta organization to improve quality and agility.

·        Involved in QE activities associated with TrackWise Digital releases.

MUST HAVE

  • \t2 years of manual software testing and quality assurance experience of SaaS solutions, in an Agile development environment

  • \t1 years of experience defining test strategies and test scenarios for multi-tiered web-facing applications

  • \t1 years of hands-on experience maintaining test automation frameworks and scripts with Selenium WebDriver, including creating automation scripts beyond record and playback using languages like Java

WE VALUE

  • \tBachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering or similar

  • \r\t

  • \tKnowledge of database concepts, with SQL/Oracle experience (and MongoDB preferably)

  • \tPractical experience with mobile application testing

  • \r\t

  • \tExtensive experience in testing web services, especially REST services

  • \r\t

  • \tPractical experience with the Salesforce platform, especially with Salesforce Administration and validating applications built on the Salesforce platform, and Salesforce Administrator certification

  • \r\t

  • \tExperience working in an FDA regulated environment, with knowledge of validation requirements for the FDA Title 21 CFR Part 11 compliance

  • \r\t

  • \tFamiliarity with build and continuous integration tools like Jenkins

  • \r\t

  • \tExposure to security testing

  • \r\t

  • \t2 years of practical experience in all types of testing including exploratory, functional, and non-functional testing such as performance and reliability
