Position Summary


This role sits in the Driven Marketing team and would be reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing Department of Southeast Asia and Pacific region.
The job scope includes developing multi-channel strategy and execution across CRM and digital in order to drive business KPIs for Samsung smartphone and consumer electronics category.


Role and Responsibilities


  • Lead and manage internal and external stakeholders to improve CRM (owned and paid) performance

    • Work alongside with the team-lead and agencies on conceptualizing & strategizing on data - driven CRM and marketing projects

    • Lead & manage CRM Shared Service Operations to provide execution support to all SEAO subsidiaries in campaign deployment, calendar management, measurement and analytics.

    • Increase customer life-time value by leveraging enhanced Data Science to model customers around brand loyalty scores, satisfaction scores and purchase propensity scores

    • Develop and activate campaigns that are bespoke to different segments along the customer lifecycle

    • Accelerate eStore revenue with an increased focus on improving CRM and Digital Paid channel execution

    • Ensure enhanced execution support to subsidiaries to help build digital capability

    • Drive new digital innovation projects in the field of attribution modeling and analytics by bringing the latest thinking in AdTech and Martech.


  • Implement best-in-class digital and data driven marketing strategies across paid, owned and earned media

    • Work along-side with the team lead and agencies on designing and executing regional mobile flagship, mid-tier and consumer electronic/ home appliance campaigns from brief to final implementation stage.

    • Define clear key performance indicators (KPIs) and key performance drivers (KPDs) across paid/owned/earned channels to deliver the business results


  • Track & monitor channel performance and campaigns against the established business KPIs

    • Develop digital KPI and KPD frameworks and track performance on a regular basis

    • Analyzing effectiveness of individual campaigns to deliver actionable insights and recommendations

    • Enable markets to optimize the campaigns based on the established KPDs to drive higher performance


  • Develop monthly/Quarterly/Annual updates

    • Build strategic narrative on performance of digital marketing campaigns across the region

    • Highlight key success factors and gap areas to improve the overall business performance of smartphone and consumer electronics category


  • Collaborate with marketing teams & agency partners

    • Connect with marketing teams globally and in-country to drive best practices in digital marketing to drive business results

    • Effectively and timely communication between 8 markets in SEAO region to ensure support in resolving local market campaign issues.

    • Collaborate with agency partners across media, creative, data analytics and technology to develop cutting-edge & innovative campaigns

    • Building strong relationships with digital channel partners e.g. Google, Facebook, and other leading digital media partners to drive innovative marketing strategies


Skills and Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or Masters degree is a plus.

  • Minimum 8-10 years of work-experience exclusively in digital marketing for a Tech/ Electronics/ CPG Marketer / Finance

  • Ability to travel regionally (~25%) and at short notice

  • Experience in digital and data-driven marketing across creative, media & technology

  • Implemented large scale regional digital campaigns with demonstrable business impact

  • Fluent in the integrated marketing communications and the role digital plays in the consumer experience and cross-channel marketing mix

  • Familiar with audience segmentation and have a passion for understanding consumer insights and the ability to translate those insights into actionable business ideas

  • Highly strategic and analytical with experience in C-Suite level reporting and presentation, regional experience preferred

  • Independent, self-driven individual with highly responsible nature, strong leadership and strategic thinker, an independent, self-driven and responsible individual, with multi-tasking and decision-making abilities.

  • Significant proven experience of working with multiple stakeholders, e.g. suppliers, advertising/marketing agencies, media owners.

  • Outstanding and clear communication skills - be able to think strategically and analytically to understand complex or ambiguous issues and articulate strategic solutions, and recommendations
