TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Regional Vice President supporting Manhattan & the Northeast Region
Helps to drive the success of the Region by managing sales and operations performance with an emphasis on differentiated customer service and service growth so that the Region operates consistently, cohesively and continues to grow in volume and exceeds the annual budgetary plan
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Leads a group of branch managers within the Region and is responsible for the growth of the service business through lines of business: modernization, repair and sales operations
Ensures branch operations run efficiently and cost effectively. Includes monitoring staff performance and morale, overseeing office/jobsite environment and addressing performance issues when necessary
Drives and supports a culture of safety and compliance throughout the branches. Includes participation in safety training, performing required safety audits and stressing the importance of safety to all employees
Reviews P&L and other financial reports to monitor branch performance to ensure monthly budgetary goals are met or exceeded. Develops, reviews and approves the operating plans and budgets submitted by branch managers
Develops and implements "best practice" operational processes with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement of service revenue growth. Includes working with branch management to ensure a level of customer service that is differentiated from the competition; and developing a unified approach to serving external and internal customers, and communicating a consistent message and brand
Support and rolls out all OU initiatives and supports the execution of initiatives within the branches. Includes interfacing with OU and corporate departments, including the factory, coordination, leasing, legal, HR, and finance
Supports effective business development activities such as market assessments and positioning, customer management and feedback and performance assessment. Includes maintaining and enhance strong working relationships with customers, elevator consultants, building owners and managers, construction firms and architects.
Maintains a strong working knowledge of overall market areas, including sales backlog, service and repair volume, market penetration, volume of outstanding bids, available new business, special projects, and staffing requirements and availability
Maintains strong familiarity of company products by attending company training classes, and reviewing factory equipment updates and supplier goods. Includes maintaining a strong understanding of TK Elevator, and its regional and company mission and objectives, ethical standards and code of conduct
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all federal, state and local elevator industry code requirements
Approves sales incentives and determines discretionary bonuses when needed
Works with HR to ensure that managers use performance management techniques to evaluate employee performance
Actively involved in the recruiting efforts for employees within the branches, as well as working closely with HR in the development of employees
Performs other duties as may be assigned
Who we are looking for
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
3 to 7+ years of branch or upper level management and experience in the elevator industry
Proven success managing and developing talent within the workforce
Ability to read and interpret complex business theories, professional journals, technical procedures and government regulations
Ability to define problems collect data, establishes facts and draw valid conclusions
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions
